"my heart" california - usa - 2006

YOU CAN...

... become a part of the ART!

the DADAISTS would have said " A HEART IS A HEART IS A HEART.... " not in this case!

THIS HEART not ALWAYS has to be A HEART .

how a friend sees it ;) > "It reminds me of a nordic grasses by the beach, mid-winter sporting a pure fragile hoar frost, receiving its first summer warmth; what an awesome combination!"

in many pieces of my art you find the possibility of becoming a part of the ART by arranging the pieces, offered by me, in a way YOU like it.

this huge "painting" is composed of 9 panels. the panel size is 2' x 2'.

I love to do art on comission for all kinds of establishments, eg. fashion boutiques, designer showrooms, restaurants, cafes, entrance halls, foyers, as well as private homes. large rooms with vaulted ceilings are perfect for making this kind of huge art the center piece of the room.

it is wonderful that YOU will be able to take this kind of paintings with you, what ever space you will be moving in, because you are always flexible with the size of the panels.

just contact me and let's talk about your idea.

i couldn't find a suitable place for this painting , so i decided to make it a part of the whole new wall installation combined with the bamboo grass, AND IT BECAME A WINTERSTORM .

BRIGHT COLOUR MAKES OUR SOLES DANCE, BREATH AND LAUGH, MAKES OUR HEART BEAT AND OUR BRAIN WORK BETTER, MAKES OUR TASTE MORE INTENSE, OUR EYES SEE MORE AND OUR CHILDREN HAPPIER. BEIGE IS NARCOTIC FOR HUMAN BEINGS!

2010 APRIL 12TH KRIS SCHIRMER

Narcotics are any drugs that causes CNS effects and have a high abuse potentials. As noted above, Narcotics may have morpine like qualities to them but some do not. The term Narcotic often refers to a drug that is illegal in nature and is often used in recreational use. It is believed to have been coined by the Greek physician Galen to refer to agents that numb or deaden, causing loss of feeling or paralysis. It is based on the Greek word ναρκωσις (narcosis), the term used by Hippocrates for the process of numbing or the numbed state. Galen listed mandrake root, altercus (eclata)[1] seeds, and poppy juice (opium) as the chief examples.[2][3] “Narcotic” is a term derived from the Greek word for stupor. It originally referred to a variety of substances that relieved pain and dulled the senses. Now, the term is used in a number of ways. Some people define narcotics as substances that bind at opiate receptors (cellular membrane proteins activated by substances like heroin or morphine) while others refer to any illicit substance as a narcotic. From a legal perspective, narcotic refers to opium, opium derivatives, and their semi-synthetic substitutes. [4]
